Dimensions apply when the backpack is unpacked. Heavy overpacking can increase its depth by one or two centimetres.

This is the question that matters before buying — and the reason for these dimensions.

At 50 × 32 × 22 cm the backpack is below the standard 55 × 40 × 23 cm limit used by most European airlines for carry-on luggage. It fits in the overhead bin and, when compressed, under the seat in front.

Budget airlines such as Ryanair and Wizz Air have a smaller allowance for free carry-on luggage. You need a fare with a large cabin bag there — as you would for any travel backpack of this size, regardless of brand.

The backpack opens flat like a suitcase — 180 degrees flat, rather than only through a narrow flap. You lay your belongings inside instead of packing down into a hole.

The outer material is water-repellent and tear-resistant. In prolonged rain, we still recommend a rain cover — no backpack with a zip is completely waterproof.

Five years on seams and zips. If something breaks, we repair or replace it.

Covered are zips, sliders and pull tabs, shoulder straps, seams and attachment points, plus buckles, clips and the trolley sleeve. No receipt maze: an email with a photo is enough.

Cuts, abrasion or damage from overloading and the normal patina of the material are not covered.

You have 100 days to change your mind. Pack it fully at home, wear it and check whether your laptop fits. To return it, it must be free of signs of outdoor use — trying the inside is expressly allowed.

We refund the full purchase price after receiving and inspecting the item. You pay the return shipping costs; we email you the address and instructions.
